Section 01

Pricing & Availability

All prices displayed on the Group Ride KC website are estimates only. Final pricing will be confirmed by Group Ride KC prior to payment.

Prices Subject to Change

Quoted prices are subject to change based on availability, demand, route adjustments, and other factors. A confirmed price is only guaranteed once Group Ride KC has accepted your booking request and provided a payment link.

First Come, First Served

All ride bookings are on a first come, first served basis. Submitting a request does not guarantee availability. Your ride is only confirmed once your deposit (or full payment, where applicable) has been received.

Match Day & Event Pricing

Rides on Sporting KC match days, major Kansas City events, and late-night hours (10 PM–5 AM) are subject to surge pricing. Surge rates will be reflected in your quoted price prior to payment.

Round Trip On-Site Fees

Round trip bookings that require the driver to remain on-site between drop-off and return pickup are subject to an additional on-site fee of $95/hour.

Payment Terms

Deposit Requirement

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your ride. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit payment is received.

Remaining Balance

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 72 hours before your scheduled pickup time. You will receive an automatic reminder at 96 hours before your pickup, giving you 24 hours to complete payment.

Non-Payment Policy

If the remaining balance is not received by 72 hours before your scheduled pickup, Group Ride KC reserves the right to cancel the ride and retain the deposit.

Rides Booked Within 72 Hours

Bookings made within 72 hours of the scheduled pickup time require full payment at the time of booking. No split deposit/balance arrangement is available for short-notice bookings.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are processed securely via Stripe and are PCI DSS compliant.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations — More Than 72 Hours Before Pickup

If you cancel more than 72 hours before your scheduled pickup time, you will receive a 50% refund of all payments made to date.

Cancellations — Within 72 Hours of Pickup

Cancellations made within 72 hours of your scheduled pickup time are non-refundable. No refund will be issued.

Rescheduling

Need to change your date or time? You may reschedule your ride at any time and your deposit will carry over to your new booking. Rescheduling is not considered a cancellation.

Section 04

Passenger Conduct & Cleaning Fee

Group Ride KC is committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience for all passengers and drivers.

Cleaning Fee

An additional cleaning fee of up to $250 will be charged for any excessive mess caused by passengers, including but not limited to vomiting, spills, staining, or other damage to the vehicle interior. This fee will be charged to the payment method on file.

Unacceptable Conduct

Group Ride KC reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time if passengers engage in disruptive, unsafe, or illegal behavior. No refund will be issued in the event of service termination due to passenger misconduct.

Alcohol Policy

Passengers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding alcohol consumption. Group Ride KC is not responsible for the actions of passengers before, during, or after their ride.

Section 05

Liability & Service Disclaimer

Group Ride KC operates as a private transportation service. While we make every effort to provide reliable, on-time service, the following limitations apply:

Service Disruptions

Group Ride KC is not liable for delays or service disruptions caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. In the event we are unable to fulfill a confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund.

Lost or Damaged Property

Group Ride KC is not responsible for items lost, left behind, or damaged in our vehicles. Please ensure you have all personal belongings before exiting the vehicle.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Group Ride KC's total liability to any customer shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific ride in question.

Section 06

Privacy Policy

Group Ride KC collects personal information (name, phone number, email address, and pickup/drop-off locations) solely for the purpose of fulfilling your ride booking and communicating with you about your service.

SMS Messaging

By providing your phone number and submitting a booking request, you agree to receive SMS messages from Group Ride KC related to your ride, including booking confirmations, driver details, payment reminders, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared with service providers (e.g., payment processors, calendar services) solely to fulfill your booking.

Cookies

Our website may use cookies to improve your browsing experience. No personally identifiable information is stored in cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
